Jack Daniels. With its distinctive square bottle and black label, the whiskey from Tennessee is one of the best selling brands of liquor in the world and has come to become a symbol of Rock n Roll culture mainly due to its excessive usage by guitar god Slash, Motley Crue and many others. While these gods of rock might have been content to swig it straight from the bottle, we at The Backdoor like to take a tad more sophisticated approach. After all, a little time taken is more than worth the boost in taste is it not?

Recipe: The Apple Jack

Ingredients: 35ml of Jack Daniels, 140ml of Apple Juice, Lime wedge

Fill a high ball glass with Cubed Ice. Pour in Jack Daniels and top off with Apple Juice. Garnish with a lime wedge. And voila, you have a cocktail that will both be agreeable on your taste buds and will pack quite the punch.
