What Would You Pay to Watch Metallica Live?

What would you pay to watch Metallica live?

What would you pay to watch Metallica perform live? Well, obviously not $210 for a standing ticket when the usual price for even a seated ticket is no higher than $105.

Metallica’s concert in Israel, which is to be held on the 22nd of May, was priced outrageously high at $210 per standing ticket which led to the massively ticked off Israeli Metalheads to protest against this. Two fans opened a facebook group to get people to not attend the concert and in just 4 days of opening the group, over 6000 members pledged that they will not attend the concert if tickets were sold at such high prices. The protest was successful in the end when the promoters along with the band decided to revise the prices to more reasonable amounts.

Joey “Slipknot” Jordison to tour with Rob Zombie

Joey Jordison announced that he will be touring with Rob Zombie for their coming tour. In a statement he said that:

“I am honored, proud and excited to announce that I have joined the ranks as the new touring drummer for Rob Zombie. I’ve been a fan of Zombie’s since the beginning. I’ve toured with them and have always wanted to play for them. When John 5 called me up to ask if I knew any drummers I could recommend, I said, only half-jokingly, ‘Yeah, me!”

“This show and set-list is mind blowing, and what better way to kick off than with the ‘Gruesome Twosome’ tour with horror-rock legend Alice Cooper. I want to thank all the Slipknot fans for their support and the Rob Zombie fans for welcoming me in. The Demonoid Phenomenon is on its way!”

Will KISS not like confetti anymore?

The band that is known for using all the effects in the world at all their concerts was forced to cut short their set list due to an overuse of confetti. Although KISS concerts are known for a spectacular madness of confetti, this time the act went wrong.

The band members were forced to leave the stage after the confetti cannons started shooting confetti haphazardly in to the air. The carbon dioxide used in the cannon’s mechanism that saturated the air on stage made it difficult for the band members to breath, which forced them to leave the stage.

On the 2nd, the Islington Academy in London was packed with 800 fans for the concert. The band returned for the encore after they had left the stage, but due to the trauma they had to cut short the set list that night.
